The lithe build, the swishy movements, the bouncy demeanor: to a first glance, Indi’s a pretty typical river otter kid; on the cusp of teenhood, and around 140cm tall. However, a mixed heritage is pretty obvious at a longer look. His base color is a lot lighter than the otter standard, a sort of dusty tan, and big triangular ears perk up out of his head, confirming his coyote heritage. Along with that, his fur has a thicker, fluffier look to it than the standard otter pelt, particularly about his shoulders and front, and along the trailing half of his tail, the fluff there making it look rather a lot like a classic canine brush stuck on the end of a ruddertail.

The muted tones of his pelt make a distinct contrast the vibrant markings atop it; curls of cyan, blue, and purple embellish his arms, legs, and tail, glowing faintly in shadow. His headfur is bright too, if not actually luminescent; it’s mostly blue-tinged purple, shading to aqua in the bangs that his face in front and the ponytail that reaches between his shoulder blades in back. Blue-green eyes shine brightly above a cheerful smiling muzzle.

He’s dressed as if he’s ready to go out to a mall with friends, a bright aqua tee hanging slightly loose on his slim features, accented with orange and pink diagonal streaks. Pale blue jean shorts keep him comfy, well fit for his tail to sweep and swish. His webbed paws remain bare, seeming just a little larger, still growing into them. His outfit includes a few accessories, beaded bracelets around wrists and ankles, flashy and colorful, mixes of metals and plastics and rubbery materials.

Notes

Sometimes seen (and depicted in references) as closer to adult age, and/or as a detailed plushie. All the other details apply in those forms, but the kid variant is the most common for commissions and is the right one to use unless mentioned otherwise.
